Reliant Power Savings: Best overall
Reliant’s top-rated Power Savings plan is a customer favorite because it offers an affordable fixed rate for 12 or 24 months. Whenever your monthly usage hits 1,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh), you’ll receive a $75 bill credit. You’ll have to pay an early termination fee (ETF) of $150 or $295 (depending on your term length) if you cancel before the contract ends.
Reliant Power Savings 2,000 kWh: Best for high-usage customers
Reliant offers excellent options for customers in higher usage tiers. The Power Savings 2,000 kWh 12 and 24 plans are fixed for one or two years and offer a $150 bill credit when you use more than 2,000 kWh per month. As with other Reliant Energy electric plans, you’ll pay an ETF of $150 or $295 if you cancel early.
Reliant Basic Power: Best for medium-sized homes
Reliant’s Basic Power plan is a good choice for medium-usage customers. The plan is available for one or two years, and your base charge is waived if you use over 1,000 kWh per month. The same ETF applies — $150 for 12-month plans and $295 for 24-month plans.
